The All-season Theme Park and Ise Grand Shrine
You can visit the famous "Nabana no Sato" theme park or the venerable "Ise Grand Shrine."
"Nabana no Sato" (Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture)
Just 35 minutes from "Nagoya", "Nabana no Sato" is a sprawling theme park where you can enjoy beautiful seasonal flowers. Seasonal flowers such as tulips in spring, hydrangea in early summer, and cosmos in autumn bloom over a wide-spread area. The greenhouse "Begonia Garden" is known for the begonias that bloom throughout the year. Fireflies can be sighted from late May to early July.

Many people visit from mid-October to early May to witness one of the biggest illuminations in the country.
About two hours from Nagoya Station. A venerable shrine with over 2000 years of history. Uji Bridge over Isuzu River marks the entrance to the shrine. After offering prayers, wander around the "Okage Yokocho Old Street" or the "Oharai-machi" and explore the various souvenir shops and restaurants. Kimonos are also available on rent.
Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology (Nagoya City)
The Red-brick Factory (birthplace of the Toyota Group) has been opened to public as an Industrial Heritage Site. The transition of technologies related to textile machines and automobiles is explained in an easy-to-understand manner with actual machine demonstrations and explanatory images.
"Nagoya Castle" (Nagoya City)
It is the symbol of Nagoya. After 10 years of renovation work, the "Honmaru Goten" was opened to public in 2018. Top of the castle is decorated with a sculpture of a fantasy creature "Kin no Shachihoko" that has the head of a tiger and the body of a fish (the castle tower is closed).
Local Gourmet "Nagoyameshi"
"Nagoya" offers a wide variety of local delicacies called "Nagoyameshi." The eel delicacy "Hitsumabushi" is to be enjoyed in three different ways. Take the first portion into your bowl and enjoy it as is; then take the second helping and put on some condiments (wasabi, green onions, etc.) to your taste; and finally take the third serving with green tea poured over it. Spicy chicken wings coated with a spicy sauce, sprinkled with spices and sesame seeds are also very popular.

The Shima Peninsula is located in the eastern part of Mie Prefecture. Ago Bay, in its southern part, is famous for its pearl farming. The bay hosts a series of no less than 50 islands of varying size, with countless pearl rafts dotted in between. At night, the shadow of the islands shines in deep crimson on the inlets.
"Doors to explore 'NIPPON'", a special program that showcases scenes hand-picked from NHK's "SHIN NIHON FUDOKI", a show that conveys the beautiful scenery and profound culture of Japan, is screened on five TV monitors installed in the departure area of Haneda Airport.
