The "Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama" is a nature park with superb panoramic views and 120 wild Japanese macaques. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the observation deck. You can also feed to nearby animals.

Fushimi Inari Taisha "Colors nurtured by one thousand years of history"
Fushimiinari-taisha Shrine is always bustling with many visitors. It is best known for its vermilion red color. No matter where you look there is red everywhere. It's said that it was painted vermilion red in opposition to the introduction of Buddhism to Japan in the sixth century. They used this vermilion, which was quite valuable at the time, to assert the significance and existence of Shinto shrines.
